boat building plans center console
I'd like to build a center console boat. 19-23 foot. most likely strip/composite construction. probably outboard powered. needs to be a good looking boat. the glen-l designs just don't have that sexiness. the landing school builds one that was on the cover of this year's motorboat mag put out by the folks at woodenboat. very nice looking boat.. Re: my center console build and plans looks good, if it rots it will be from the bottom, you could add a footer to sit it on thats waterproof to prevent it wicking. standard pontoon helm cn200 console marine plywood. the standard boat console is the star attraction in every boat that has a motor.& have you noticed how yours is.. Trailer: designed for use with glen-l series 2100 boat trailer plans. why pay the high price for production center console sportfishers when you can build your own? our kingfisher design lets you do it at a fraction of the cost..

Re: my center console build and plans boater45, check your pm. kukiebs, for this console, i think fiberglass strand mat should be sufficient. doesn't really require that much strength. it's cheaper than woven. you can get 3' x 3' sheets at walmart for $4..
