I bought a tinnie around 12-18 months ago, i decided to build a front cast deck add a sounder and an electric to create a bass boat. now i have really decided to go all out on the old faithful and build it into a sport bass boat complete with latest sounders and electronics. here is the process so far.. The original 14’ bass boat was designed by rodney warrington-smythe for amateur construction in plywood. hard-chined, she was relatively simple to build. over the years since the early 1950s the design has evolved. today there’s a 20’ version and an 8’ baby bass boat with a junk sail!.
