plywood boat book

A simplified scarfing method is illustrated for joining plywood. glen-l specializes in books for the home boatbuilder. all are written by boat designers in down to earth language specifically for the amateur. three of these books are used as text books in college classes around the country.. Building a plywood boat is a bagatelle particularly using the stitch and glue method. the seventh boat is built by this method. in the process i have bought six books from amazon though all of the information that i needed was free on the internet. the books are “go build your own boat” and build the new instant boat by harold payson.
plywood boat book Small boat since the forces involved in sailing it are much more manageable. building a small plywood boat is easy, quick, and satisfying, and owning and maintaining it is has less of a financial impact on other family members than buying and owning a large boat. this is an important point: if a small boat has less of an impact on family life. "i've never built a boat (in progress), so the first book i bought was glen-l boatbuilding with plywood, as well as a couple of other plywood boat books, and a book on designing boats. i promise i am not on the glen-l payroll when i say that the glen-l plywood book is the best of the books i bought, and worth the money.
