The boards should be as long as your sailboat is wide, probably about 4 feet for a one-man sailboat. repeat with another set of boards to form the cradle's feet. set the feet parallel to each other about two and a half feet apart and lay a 2-inch by 4-inch board perpendicularly across the top of the feet at each end.. sailboat cradle plans I'm wondering if anyone knows of any plans/blueprints to build a steel sailboat cradle.seeing my boat is 35ft i would imagine i would need a 6 post cradle. i've searched but couldn't find any. i know gord may is good at finding things like this..
